Micropower wanted to leave PDF based documentation in the form of manuals and provide customers with a documentation portal delivering product information.
Micropower also wanted to create and manage fault tracing procedures to enable predictive maintenance using sensor data provided by Micropower NFC enabled app.
The main objective of the Micropower information system is to deliver product information via an information portal compared to generic manuals where the customer needs to find applicable information for the customer configuration.
Micropower implemented a multi-source service architecture using Docfactory as the single source information system for product information where customers can access products and all related information.
Docfactory is also used to service MicroPower's mobile app with fault tracing information where measurements can be obtained using NFC technology (tags) triggering the correct fault tracing procedure and applicable actions.
A Micropower Information Portal is now deployed containing product information for all Micropower products.
